01

Thermos New Website.

The Opportunity.

Thermos UK recognised that its existing ecommerce platform was no longer meeting the needs of either its customers or internal teams. The website was difficult to navigate, product discovery was challenging, and the overall user experience was impacting conversion performance.

Behind the scenes, the legacy Magento platform created operational inefficiencies, making it difficult to manage content, update products and respond quickly to evolving business requirements. To support future growth, Thermos needed a modern, scalable ecommerce platform that would improve customer experience, streamline internal processes and provide a stronger foundation for digital performance.

The Solution.

The team were appointed to lead the complete digital transformation of the Thermos UK ecommerce experience.

We began with a comprehensive audit of the existing platform, analysing user journeys, website performance, technical infrastructure and conversion opportunities. Following our recommendations, Shopify was selected as the ideal platform to support future growth, offering greater flexibility, improved usability and enhanced performance.

Key Deliverables Included:

  • Full ecommerce platform migration from Magento to Shopify
  • UX audits and customer journey optimisation
  • Conversion-focused website design and development
  • Technical SEO and site performance improvements
  • Analytics, tracking and measurement implementation
  • Integration of CRM, reviews, fulfilment and marketing tools
  • Enhanced content management capabilities for internal teams
  • Future-proofed architecture designed to support ongoing growth

Throughout the project, our focus was on creating a faster, more intuitive ecommerce experience while giving the Thermos team greater control over their digital ecosystem.

The Results.

The new Shopify platform delivered significant improvements across key business and marketing KPIs.

Customers now benefit from a faster, more streamlined shopping experience, making it easier to discover products and complete purchases. Internal teams gained greater flexibility and efficiency through a simplified content and product management process, reducing reliance on developers and enabling faster campaign execution.

The project also delivered stronger visibility into performance through enhanced analytics and attribution, allowing Thermos to make more informed marketing decisions and optimise investment across channels.

Key Outcomes Included:

  • Improved website performance and user experience
  • Increased conversion efficiency across the customer journey
  • Stronger ecommerce performance and return on marketing investment
  • Enhanced visibility across customer acquisition channels
  • Greater operational efficiency for internal teams
  • A scalable platform built to support future growth

Today, Thermos UK operates on a modern ecommerce platform that not only delivers a superior customer experience but provides the flexibility, insight and performance needed to support long-term digital growth.

02

Thermos Paid Media Transformation.

The Opportunity.

The complete account overhaul coupled with the new website launch delivered outstanding results, with ROAS soaring by 800% to over £30.

This dramatic improvement justified increased investment in the channel, fueling accelerated growth and customer acquisition. The enhanced budget also enabled expansion into brand awareness campaigns, including YouTube ads, further strengthening the brand’s market presence.

The Solution.

Latitude 43 conducted a comprehensive audit of the existing paid media activity, analysing campaign structure, bidding strategies, audience targeting, creative performance, tracking and attribution.

Our recommendations focused on building a more robust, data-driven acquisition strategy designed to maximise performance across the customer journey.

Key Initiatives Included:

  • Complete restructuring of Google Ads campaigns
  • Advanced audience segmentation and targeting
  • Enhanced conversion tracking and attribution
  • Ongoing bid, budget and feed optimisation
  • Creative and messaging testing to improve engagement
  • Shopping and Performance Max optimisation
  • Expansion into Microsoft Ads to capture additional demand and reach new audiences
  • Alignment of paid media activity with the new ecommerce experience and customer journey

Using data and insights gathered across channels, we implemented a continuous testing and optimisation framework to ensure performance improved over time and budgets were allocated effectively.

The Results.

The transformation delivered significant improvements across all key paid media performance indicators.

Campaign efficiency increased substantially, driving stronger returns on advertising investment and creating a more scalable customer acquisition model. Improved tracking and attribution provided greater visibility into performance, enabling more informed decision-making and ongoing optimisation.

As results improved, Thermos was able to confidently increase investment in paid media, accelerating growth and expanding its digital footprint across additional channels and campaign types.

The success of the strategy enabled Thermos to move beyond performance-led campaigns alone, investing in broader brand awareness initiatives and creating a more balanced, full-funnel digital marketing approach.

Today, paid media plays a critical role in Thermos UK’s growth strategy, delivering consistent performance while supporting long-term brand development and customer acquisition.

Key Outcomes Included:

  • Significant growth in return on advertising investment
  • Increased revenue and customer acquisition from paid channels
  • Improved campaign efficiency and budget utilisation
  • Enhanced visibility across the customer journey
  • Successful expansion into additional advertising platforms
  • Greater scalability and long-term growth potential

Thermos SEO Growth Strategy.

The Opportunity.

Thermos UK had significant untapped potential within organic search. Search visibility was limited, rankings for commercially valuable keywords were underperforming, and competitors were consistently outperforming the brand across key product categories.

A combination of technical issues, content gaps and the absence of a clearly defined SEO strategy was restricting organic growth. Website performance, metadata, site architecture and content optimisation all presented opportunities for improvement, while stronger competitors were capturing valuable search traffic and market share.

Thermos needed a long-term SEO strategy that would improve visibility, increase qualified traffic and establish a stronger presence across key search categories.

The Solution.

Latitude 43 developed and executed a comprehensive SEO strategy designed to improve both technical performance and search visibility.

We began with a detailed audit of the website, identifying technical barriers, content opportunities and competitive gaps. This provided the foundation for a prioritised SEO roadmap aligned to Thermos’ commercial objectives.

Key Initiatives Included:

  • Comprehensive technical SEO audit and optimisation
  • Keyword research and search opportunity analysis
  • Competitor benchmarking and market gap identification
  • Content optimisation and content strategy development
  • Site architecture and internal linking improvements
  • Metadata and on-page SEO enhancements
  • Website performance and page speed optimisation
  • Shopify migration support to protect and enhance organic visibility
  • Authority-building and digital PR activity to strengthen domain credibility
  • Ongoing monitoring, reporting and optimisation

Our strategy focused on building sustainable organic growth by improving technical foundations, expanding search visibility and increasing relevance across high-value search terms.

The Results.

The SEO strategy delivered significant improvements across all key organic performance metrics.

Search visibility increased substantially, with a far greater number of relevant keywords ranking across priority categories and a significant uplift in first-page rankings. Organic traffic continued to grow as technical improvements, content optimisation and authority-building initiatives gained momentum.

The migration to Shopify also provided a stronger technical foundation, resulting in improved website performance, enhanced user experience and better search engine accessibility.

Today, SEO plays a central role in Thermos UK’s digital growth strategy, delivering sustainable traffic, increased brand visibility and long-term commercial value while strengthening the brand’s position against key competitors.

Key Outcomes Included:

  • Significant growth in organic search visibility
  • Increased rankings across high-value commercial keywords
  • Strong improvements in website performance and technical health
  • Enhanced authority through strategic backlink acquisition and digital PR
  • Increased organic traffic and customer acquisition
  • Strong growth in SEO-driven revenue and commercial performance

Thermos Organic Social Growth.

The Opportunity.

Despite being one of the world’s most recognised food and beverage brands, Thermos had a limited social media presence and was failing to fully connect with modern audiences. Engagement levels were low, content lacked consistency, and the brand was not maximising the opportunities available across key social platforms.

With increasing competition for attention online, Thermos needed a fresh social strategy to strengthen brand relevance, build a community of engaged followers and create content capable of driving awareness, engagement and advocacy at scale.

The Solution.

Latitude 43 developed and executed a comprehensive organic social strategy designed to modernise the brand’s digital presence and create meaningful engagement with both existing and new audiences.

We began by refreshing the brand’s social foundations, ensuring channels, messaging and visual identity aligned with the wider brand proposition. From there, we developed a content strategy focused on storytelling, lifestyle integration and audience engagement.

Key Initiatives Included:

  • Social media strategy and channel optimisation
  • Brand profile enhancements and platform verification
  • Development of a consistent content and engagement framework
  • Creation of short-form video and social-first content
  • UGC and creator-led content programmes
  • Influencer identification, outreach and activation
  • Community management and audience engagement
  • Organic content testing and performance optimisation
  • Platform feature adoption across Reels, Stories and emerging formats
  • Ongoing analytics, reporting and content refinement

By combining engaging creative, creator partnerships and platform best practices, we transformed Thermos’ social channels into an active and growing brand community.

The Results.

The strategy delivered substantial growth across all key organic social KPIs.

Audience size increased significantly, while engagement levels improved dramatically through more relevant content, stronger community interaction and increased creator participation. The introduction of creator-led content and short-form video generated exceptional reach, helping Thermos connect with new audiences and strengthen brand awareness.

The success of the strategy also extended beyond social platforms, generating wider media attention and increasing overall brand visibility.

Key Outcomes Included:

  • Significant growth in followers and community size
  • Major improvements in engagement and audience interaction
  • Increased reach and visibility through creator and UGC programmes
  • Strong growth in video views and content performance
  • Enhanced brand credibility through platform verification
  • Increased brand awareness and earned media exposure
  • A scalable organic social strategy supporting long-term growth

Today, Thermos has a thriving social presence supported by an engaged community, a growing network of creators and a content strategy that continues to drive awareness, engagement and brand affinity across key platforms.
